Well, Chris, as the article about the Baptists and the Mormons pointed out, there are different versions of the Bible for different Christian groups. Is it true that the Catholic bible has different books than the Protestant ones do? Certainly if there is so much variance in the Bible itself, one could argue that one could still be Christian and add other religious works. I can certainly see how you could decide that a group that did not worship the Bible at all might not be Christian, but the Bible plus something else seems much murkier.

Of course, while everyone is talking and arguing about religion, the polar ice caps are melting, the Mexican rain forests are burning, and Pakistan and India are about to nuke each other into oblivion. Newsweek magazine estimates 100,000,000 deaths if that happens. It seems like maybe there are more crucial things in life than deciding exactly who is Christian, and fighting over warm bodies to sit in your particular church. And I think Jesus would agree with me!!!
