Del, one of the things about Israel and the Palestinians is that care needs to be taken not to believe propaganda by the Christian right any more than by any other group involved. The Christian group I cited has been in Israel for several years, trying to monitor human rights abuses. But if you look on the web, many of the Christian right groups absolutely hate the Jews, and want to kill them all. So it is a very, very confusing situation. There is a strong Jewish lobby in America, it is true. I get most of my information on the issue from the European press, which seems to be a little more objective. As I understand it, the U.N. has lots of problems with Israeli human rights abuses, but we don't get much of that over here. This report seems credible, since it is from an Israeli group, published by Reuters: pathfinder.com
