Just when I thought we got rid of the hype on this thread, the Company has decided to hype its own stock. I received a fax today from the Company of the article on CCUR that appeared in the May 25, 1998 issue of CableWorld. While I appreciate the Company keeping its shareholders current on the developments effecting the Company, I don't think it is appropriate to distribute such articles. Especially when the articles misstate the facts. By sending out this information, the Company is associating itself with and endorsing all statements made.

This article says "S-A purchased 2 million shares of CCUR stock at $5 a share to gain an equity interest". We all know that what they really did was receive an option to purchase 2 million shares at $5 per share in exchange for working with CCUR to develop IVOD. There is a big difference !!!! The article would lead one to expect to see $10 million from sale of stock in the June 30, 1998 statement of shareholders equity and $10 million in additional cash on the balance sheet. Unless the stock is well over $5 by 6/30/98, we won't see it. SFA has at this time made no equity investment in CCUR!!!!

The appropriate approach from management would have been to inform CableWorld of the errors of their way and to not have associated themselves with this falsehood by faxing it to their shareholders. Corkey, what the hell are you doing? Don't you have any control over your people, or do you just like creating legal exposure for the company? Or maybe you are just trying to hype the stock?
