Dr. Gleitman and ALL: Here's an interesting article from CBS MarketWatch:

<<Dell falls on IBM competition

Dell Computer Corp. (DELL) slipped on confirmation that Boeing, one of its largest customers, has been buying computers from IBM Corp. (IBM). However, Piper Jaffray analyst Ashok Kumar believes the purchases do not threaten Dell's relationship with Boeing. According to Kumar, Boeing inherited an IBM service contract when it acquired McDonald Douglas. The contract will expire in two years, but Kumar believes Boeing is exercising its option to buy a certain number of units to get out of the contract. Kumar says Dell remains Boeing's prefered PC vendor and its sales momentum is still strong. Dell shares fell 5/8 to 83 15/16.>>

This shows how rumors get started. Appears that things should work out for Dell.
