Just edited it before I saw your post--

Yes the tax effect is excluded in both numbers

But if one can achieve an 8% return per month -- leave aside, 20% -- and one does it in a retirement account, one would not need to worry about saving Social Security:)

But as I say, I know that I can't do it--consistently
