Hi, everyone. Wow- a topc I kno somthig about. I am an MD with experience with trauma , chemtherapy and blood disorder patients. After reading thru the extracts, I wish to raise several areas of concern. Firstly, although we knw that this pfc can bind 02 more effeciently than Hb(abbreviation for hemoglobin), how well can it release 02 to the tissues? Youve got to get 02 into the cells . Also, will this pfc bind CO2(carbon dioxide)? You must also b able to get rid of cellular waste efficiently. Next, I am concerned about the allergy (anaphylaxis) issue. Do some of pfcs do the transport job and not be allergenic at the same time? I'm not sure the extracts addressed this. I am also concerned about the solubility issue of the pfc. If it is not sufficiently soluble it will cause clotting in the blood vessels, resulting in embolism, stroke etc. The peripheral neutropenia (low white blood-cell count) is also of concern . For example, if you are a chemtherapy patient, the last thing you want is a low white blood cell count. You would be very susceptible to infection. Also, what will be the effect of excreting pfcs thru the lungs be? Anyway, sorry to be long winded about this . I merely want to point out that a useable pfc product is quite some time away, and as an investment this may take some timeto bear fruit. I would be happy to address more issuesif someone wishes. Please understand that I am not a paid shill or somesuch: my curiosity was piqued by the top dog newsletter . Best of luck to all.
