Breaks Ground on 30,000 Square Foot Facility in Monterrey, Mexico WACO, Texas, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Great White Marine and Recreation, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TGSK - news) announced today that the Company is building a 30,000 square foot facility in Monterrey, Mexico to serve as the new headquarters for Great White's 100% wholly owned subsidiary, Great White Marine de Mexico. The new headquarters will be three times larger than the existing facility and is expected to increase Great White's annual revenues significantly beyond its 1997 revenues of approximately $14.3 million. Colin Smith, President and CEO of Great White, said ''This new facility is part of the our overall expansion plan. In May, we announced two major distribution agreements that will expand our business in Mexico. One with Polaris Industries, Inc. to warehouse and distribute Polaris personal watercrafts and all-terrain vehicles throughout Mexico. The other distribution agreement is with Fisher, a division of Tracker Marine, to warehouse and distribute the entire line of Fisher aluminum and fiberglass boats. We also plan to open an office and warehouse near the port of Miami to distribute its lines to the Virgin Islands and South America.'' Located in Monterrey, Mexico with a population of approximately five million, Great White's new headquarters in Mexico is expected to be completed by late July and will be the largest marine and recreational vehicle facility in Mexico. It will serve as a major distribution facility for Great White de Mexico and will include a retail showroom, administrative offices, and warehouse for all product lines. Great White reported a 40% increase in first quarter 1998 with audited revenues and net earnings of $5,348,765.92 and $720,078.75, respectively. Earnings per share climbed to 10 cents a share for the quarter 1998. The Company also reported record revenues and earnings for the fourth quarter for year ended 1997. Revenues were up 176% to $14.3 million with net earnings up 150% to $1.7 million, or $0.29 per share.
