>>Do you realize that the Constitution and Bill of Rights does not give us rights.......<<

Tell that to the Chinese, and other world cultures. Do you realize that you live on Planet Earth? Your over-excited, self-righteousness concerning your 'right' to shoot someone if you feel threatened is misplaced. And, no, it's not as easy as you would like it to be: I believe responsible persons have every right to own a gun. But my idea of a person with that integrity does not include someone who would state their reasons for doing so as being based upon a strict interpretation of the U.S. Constitution (a document written 200 years ago) and "defense of home, state and country."

Your one liner explanation of the benefits of putting money offshore, "Off shore is for civil litigation protection from the sue happy US...", is equally as simplistic as your treatment of the complex topic of gun ownership in the U.S.

The availability of guns in the U.S. is way out of control. It cannot be compared with any other 1st World nation. You will not find another country on earth where pre-teen and teenage school children are shooting their classmates and teachers at school. And it is getting worse. I fail to see how it will improve. It is causing a certain amount of rot to the society that feel proud to be a member of. Your reactionary attitude and simplistic approach to the issue is part of the problem.

Wake Up Call: It's 1999. Responsible persons perceive themselves as citizens of the world and behave accordingly.
