Mark - Re: Alpha, Samsung, etc.

You confused me with this post.

You offered up a good argument why the Alpha will not displace Intel CPUs.

Hyundai recently alleviated their cash crunch by selling their crown logic jewel, Symbios Logic, at a fire sale price to Adaptec. I live down the street, my friends work there, and I'm thrilled to be a shareholder in their company.

Yikes! I just bought a Symbios SCSI card, at 30% the cost of
an Adaptec card and it works fine. I guess these cards will
soon disappear, now that Adaptec has bought the competition.
