Jon:

As a professional money manager I would prefer to eschew the implication of obnoxious self-promotion. Nevertheless, it's reasonable to conclude, with some exceptions, that the truly talented can earn more managing money directly than they can by telling other people how to do the same. This would tend to pull talent from the sell-side to the buy-side as a normal consequence. I am a firm believe in economic Darwinism.

OT - for anyone who dislikes typical cell phone cases -- the carrying case that my wife and I bought for our QCP-2700 came from a place that was written up in Newsweek (I do not have the date of the issue, because Newsweek is one of those magazines that only sometimes puts the date on a page, and we tore out the page a while ago. It was, ironically, on the same page as a short piece on Silicon Investor).

Anyway, my objection to normal cases is that they do not protect a lot of the handset. The manufacturers all assume one wants the keypad and the display exposed, and I wanted something that would be useful for when I toss the phone into a piece of luggage.

The cases are sold by a place that also sells surfing stuff (I think), because they have wild colors available. It is

I recommend the bright red "Joey" model.
