There you go again, Henry. With all due respect, how can you conclude, just from observing how many "hits" you're receiving, whether or not people "find the linked information useful"? A hit, after all, only implies eyeball exposure. It doesn't say anything about whether the owner of the eyeballs a) "recognized" the site, b) "remembered" visiting the site, c) "benefitted" from visiting the site, or d) found the site "useful".

Since you're a scientist, I have to assume that these kinds of claims are not based on any statistical or other empirical evidence, but rather are just exhortations of enthusiastic optimism to help hype Ligand.

Signed,
Growing more curmodgeonly about LGND every day

I have been lurking for several months and don't want to draw fire from some of you trigger happy feuders. So allow me to state for the record that I have a significant (to me) long position in LGND. However, I ran across the following comment recently - made by a very credible individual.

< LG*D doesn't react to positive news because veteran
biotech investors know that Robinson funds the company
and expands the breadth of research at the expense of his
shareholders. I sold at $17 two years ago, correctly
predicting that dilution was coming (but never picturing
how out of hand it would get). >

Since I have never heard sentiments along these lines before, I thought to solicit comments.
