as John Zulauf wrote: vince, read your post, but I don't think it's worth much of a response. I'm sorry you feel this way about A|W in general and Penny in specific. I don't know the internal politics about the executive transition -- but I don't think "canned" is a fair characterization. I'm sorry to see her go. As for A|W not communicating...

gee John, i would think you would be happy to see an engineer replace a bookkeeper. and my sources say that mr Pratt is decisive. a word never uttered when speaking of Penny. many Maya related items that were given dates and public descriptions disappeared into a black hole under Penny. offices closed and consolidated, and whatever number i give for terminations and resignations, you will say no, but cagily fail to state a number, official or unofficial. when sales managers resign, the prospects are not bright. when SEs resign, pressure from marketing to do hocus-pocus is high. but then these guys get blasted because they have to make it work later. none of these things are signs of good health for Maya sales. and four A/W presidents in three years... instead of dissing my character, can you add any substantive facts? not quotes from A/W press releases.
care to comment on mr Pratt's statement about A/W independence?
