Bob, I've found that if you wait 3-4 days after an announcement that the players will have sold their positions for the quick buck...the longer you wait the cheaper the buy in becomes...no new news is good news on the buy in if you really like the property/company. Then wait for the follow-on move and try and take some of it off the table...then wait for the opportunity to take that money and buy more at a lower price, increasing your position with the same amount of money. Repeat this every time the stock goes up in a big move, and wait for the pull back. But never sell out your position completely.

PS. the metals are on the move today, and I suspect that this move will last for a while...strong support in both Gold and Silver with excellent closes. Also the XAU has been strong to support it.
