Gunther, THQ is going to spend far more money promoting its non-WCW titles this year than it did on the corresponding titles last year. I think your wish is about to become reality, as Quest tv commercials should start airing sometime this week. Also, Granstream has a big print ad campaign, plus an internet campaign (web banners, etc.). I thing there's a natural bias among professional reviewers to appreciate more hardcore games. Thus the preference for Saga. I used to do a lot of non-computer RPG stuff (wrote for Dragon magazine, etc.) and if I was in the market to play one of these games, I'd choose Saga over Quest, easily. I'm just more hardcore. However, if I was a kid with a N64 I'd probably love Quest.

Btw, there are other magazine reviews that are quite positive about Quest. We can't all dwell on EGM.

Can't agree with you more about the WWF license. The timing would be near-perfect for THQ and allow the company to then use its boosted stock price for more key acquisitions ala GameFX.

Thanks for the post,
Marc
