Why PNEC didn't go up today on the Funding News (BIG Typo).... Monday June 8, 4:33 pm Eastern Time Company Press Release Correcting Planet Entertainment Corp. Announces $5 Million Funding In BW1507, (PLANET-ENTERTAINMENT) Company name should read Planet Entertainment Corp. (sted Plant Entertainment Corp.) in headline, first graph, third line and second graph, sixth line. -------------------------------------------------------------------- If you look at the original announcement closely, it says "Plant" Entertainment (instead of Planet Entertainment). BIG DIFFERENCE! Because of this mis-spelling the news did not show up on any broker's screen today, so no increase in sales/volume. Nobody knew about it! Now, (and here comes the good part) - because of the screw-up, the company that made the f-up is making good and will be re-broadcasting it (correctly this time) all over the place first thing in the morning (presumably at, or right after the open).....so this hopefully will have the desired effect. Brokers will see it and the real world will do the rest..... The significance of the announcement is that the company has the money in hand ($5 Million) for the following: "Proceeds from the offering will be used for acquisitions and will fund working capital needs. This funding now enables Planet Entertainment to accomplish its short term goals of growing the company through acquisitions as well as producing or acquiring additional music, film and video catalogs. Planet Entertainment has been in various stages of discussion with potential strategic partners whose businesses would be a favorable complement to Planet Entertainment's. Mr. Giakas, Chairman of Planet Entertainment, stated, ''As soon as agreements are in place Planet Entertainment will announce these details which we expect will be in the near future.'' What I like about PNEC is that it's a real-world company with real-world investors (not internet momentum traders).... Richard (looking up in the sky for the Planets to align themselves)
