Michael Murphy: I started watching his picks in Wired or Red Herring about 14 months ago. Informix at 20, etc. He has done wholesale portfolio swaps. Interesting reading but profitable?? Another money mag guru, i/e/. he's making money on the mag. Makes me wonder if he wrote that song about the horse ("Wildfire") back around 1975. Kind of a lightweight John Denver.

Put in an order at 7 9/32 and it took and hour to get down that low (to where it got to my order) from the original 7 5/16 x 7 11/32 range. There is some churn here, no?

With a target like that for so long and industry growth still averaging in the teens, it seems almost inevitable that Murphy will eventually be proven right. Maybe by mid 99 IDTI will be at 30 and Murphy can pontificate to his paid subscribers about how brilliant his call was.
