Baz...you make some good points. IF one is not margined and is content with 40% plus gains per year then selling covered calls on the osx is an excellent investment scenario. The key would be to diversify into a mix of drillers, fabs, service and some contruction. Even if one should have the occasional bad news on one company the "mini" osx portfolio should do fine over the long term. CDG still has earnings for 99 at $5+ and is trading under PE of 8 for 99.
