Hi Pat,

I'm here only can't answer why SP8M followed bonds on Friday and were diverging most other times over the last couple of weeks. Must have something to do with the fact that the short end is stuck since the Fed is not going to lower rates and the long end has to keep some premium to keep attracting overseas money, especially in view of our (US) debtor status. E.g. flattening of the yield curve.

Looking at Tyx intraday, looks to be similar to SP8M, peak early morning, then sideways.

Looks like the SP8U is picking up volume and looking fairly positive on the daily chart though. Also, there's a discussion recently on Omega list about the increasing influence of Globex trades on daily activity. Hard to believe but people are serious about it.

Wish I knew, but the more I find out, looks like the less I know.<g>

Regards,

Lee

Pat,..Re:<<You could almost hold one upside down and it would pass for the other in a mirror.>>

That's the same as Looking at Tyx intraday, looks to be similar to SP8M, peak early morning, then sideways.

I've just gotten used to watching Tyx since it is real time. Obviously, US8U is inverse to tyx.

Good point.
