It certainly sounds like it is in the cards. My guess, and this is just a guess, is that they would like to get into the security monitoring business. Sell the system in the store and then keep the contract for monitoring. This is what has been "suggested" by IR, but nothing written in stone.

Where, in the documents, did you find the revenues for the stores for 97?
