Duplicity at every turn, oxtwo.com The letter states Patent "Application" Serial No.08/737,056.in the name of Steven Charle Manthey (Assigned to Advance Engine Technology Pty Ltd)-Axial Piston Rotary Engine" Our Ref: 9 01 066 (not that of the US Patent Office) If one takes the doubting mode on this letter, it upon careful reading, seems to confirm the transfer of the Australian Patent from the founder SCM to AENG Australia. Questions this brings up are what is AENG really saying by posting this letter? Are they confusing an Australian Patent transfer to an Australian company with the application, acceptance and issuance of a US Patent? Does AENG US (ie BB stock AENG own 100% of AENG (Australia) Ppty? Why didn't AENG post a letter from it's US Patent law firm? One would think that it would be slightly more believable if the US patent firm that represents AENG, Abelman, Frayne & Schwab said something it might carry some weight. Me doubts they will. Just what exactly are they trying to imply? Note that the automotive industry in Australia is extremely protectionist regarding the import of outside automobiles (a 150% sales tax, last I knew). Note that US patent numbers have not gone past the 6 million mark yet. If the US is about to issue (and I am not saying that it is), would not an abstract of it be available? So, what exactly does it all mean? Greg, did a little bird put you up to this one again. Calling all lawyers on SI to decompose this malarkey (in my opinion). Perhaps Murray has some comments. The abover URL shoul probably be saved to your disk as it will likley disappear unexplained.
