The ITS-2400A has key features that will enable AT&T to interoperate these systems with dense wavelength division multiplexer (DWDM) equipment from multiple vendors.

I hope you're right that AT&T is one of the testers in phase III GigaMux trials. Does anyone know whether AT&T requires both long-distance and metro DWDM's, or only long-distance ones? I think that CLECs and campuses would have more need for a metro product, but that doesn't mean that companies operating nationally or globally wouldn't also need metro products. Can anyone provide input on this?
