I think you're on the money in your analysis of the patent question, and hopefully IIA will be in the money in the near future. I'd bet that software patent that have hardware designations behind them (the screen display (of ICM), modem, phone line, switchboard, etc all lend credence to ICM's patent and will eventually force Bell into one of the alternatives you discussed.

As discussed before, fast interactive networks that permeate the Internet are a ways away, although will get here eventually, circa mid 2010 time frame. In the meantime, there's lots of opportunity with ICM and the services they can provide, as well as another portal opening (IMO).

I'm looking forward to how this all pans out. I'm long on IIA (but it seems like a good bet to me).
