Here is more information about HVAR...from the president: HVAR The Havana Republic., INC. HVAR currently owns one Cigar Emporium And Smoking Club in Weston Florida with another slated to open on or about June 19th 1998. There are two more store openings scheduled for late August and November. Each store they are opening is in the southern Florida vicinity, located in the most affluent malls, and areas ,so as to attract a certain clientele. They have targeted these stores to operate next to expensive restaurants with the desire to enhance an Evening (Afternoon)On The Town. Each Emporium will provide cigars on the retail level so as not to exclude anyone. There is also memberships to their exclusive Smoking Rooms, which varies from $250-$1,000 yearly membership. For those that are not members, they can also enjoy the Smoking Rooms for $10-$15 per smoking .(1 cigar) HVAR currently owns 50% of a Nicaraguan tobacco factory. They lease 2 plantations which provide approximately 200,000 units per month. They have agreed to change the style of the letters on their brand of cigar so as not to infringe on Banana Republic Cigars Label. HVAR is currently wrapping up their search for a PR firm and anticipate finalizing the decision by weeks end. They believe they can quadruple their revenue stream within 5 months, with each store providing approx. 2.5 million in revenue. HVAR is also aggressively seeking expansion not only on their own, but are considering franchising as well. They currently employ 10 people and are in the process of hiring more to fill the new positions created by the new store opening on June 19th.
