Hi David!
I don't understand how the great news I posted gave those who were looking for a chance to bail out?

When you say we have hit bottom because of the good news I posted, do you mean it made the stock go lower, or stemmed the tide. This is your post. Please explain.

"Don, Looks like we have hit bottom this PM - probably due to news you
posted and those looking for a chance to bail did so. I hope we will be headed back up now. Thanks for the posts. Regards, Dave"

David, I am puzzled by the fact that VocalTec sent out great news in a fax to its stockholders and I assume to some others, but witheld the news from the wire service. What was there motive in doing that? Were they giving their stockholders and a favored few the chance to react before the news hit the street? The volume was incredible, over 750,000 shares. It looks as though some panicked and others saw it as a great opportunity. For everyone who sells there has to be someone who buys.
Maybe VocalTec was trying to do its stockholders a favor by using a fax instead of the wire service. Anyway, it took a dive to 13, but closed at 14, about where it was. Did you read the post in which I quoted Shlomi Cohen? What did you think of it?

Kindest regards,
Don

Don and all,

You can't ask for better news than this - Lucent and ITXC, and after their announcement with DEC/Compaq. After the recent discussions here, I've started buying again. I don't see a whole lot of downside from here. We could still drop to 12 but I think this has bottomed now.

Ariella, I agree with your analysis on Israeli stocks. Just bought back into Teledata - another stock which defies reason why it has dropped so low.

Best Regards,

Bill
