Coug,
I see what you are saying... the volume isn't there.... I'm still short - can't afford to bail right now....<G> so I hope you are right.. But remember - Greenspan talks on Wed.. alot of folks will be watching..... That could be good or bad.....
Also, though some may not agree - I personally beleive that there is a "TON" of hard cash on the sidelines... and when the right moment comes.. (maybe greenspan allows no rate rise) then there may be one hell of a rally.... It might be next week...this week, next month but alot of the folks have been waiting to buy the "Big dip" or at least get in before the move to 10000..
I sure hope that I don't have any puts on that day... 7 have some calls.... For all I know we may be there right now.... but I personally get this little feeling that we have a down move approaching soon... we have gone up about 200 pts in 3 days - and with exception of today pretty much straight up...meaning we can come down easily....also the trashing that this market took for the last month doesn't just get cured by one good jobs report... most of these experts are just trying to justify to themselves that all is well ..
sorry to be so wordy,
Byram

Coug, I would expect a pull back over the next couple of days - we have had a nice run to consolidate, but that will be a buying opportunity in the mega's. This bull will continue to have hard skin and confound the bears. Still plenty of scared foreign capital running into mega-caps and bonds.

I don't count this rounded top as the peak - just not enough drama -g-

IMHO this mega bull will end with a V pinpoint that will burst the bubble.

I am not uniformly bullish, just large caps and selective issues. Intel looks like it could be a fairly safe short, but I would like to see it make another surface for air over 70 to harpoon it.
