Didn't catch this on CNBC...I believe the source though is probably from traders or publications such as TSC. If it is true...I wouldn't be surprised especially since this rumor has been circulating for about a week now. Compaq basically said earnings would be flat, so if they post a small loss...what's the big deal? What's more important is what Compaq says about future quarters and earnings. No one is buying CPQ expecting great earnings this quarter.

Anyways, I'm not going to sell. These panic sells usually end up costing me more money. Besides Compaq management has had a quite a long time to plan this whole thing out.
