Really funny that you seem to think it's bad news for Cyrix/NSM is PB/NEC use the new chip. They announced not just a deal to use the Cyrix chips but a more long-term "partnership" to use future chips made by Cyrix/NSM..

Dell will have advantage again! No AMD inventory pile up. Dell can start fresh with Celeron and Mendocino start selling these low cost machines for nice profit right away while CPQ and IBM are trying to figure out how to dump their AMD piles.
