It's long, drawn out and copy write protected but I guess to publish a tiny bit won't hurt:
Of the four juniors, only Major General's destiny is not tied to the success of SVB. In fact, I like Major General equally well for its 50:50 joint venture with Ascot Resources Ltd (AOT-V) on its Victoria Island diamond project in the NWT. On May 8 Major General and Ascot optioned 51% of the 480,000 ha permit to Monopros (De Beers) for $2 million exploration over 3 years. I understand that the deal will include additional earn-in provisions similar to those of deals Monopros has done with Mountain Province and Troymin. Monopros has confirmed that it has found diamondiferous kimberlites on its permits to the north. We do not know the size nor diamond content of these pipes. MGJ/Ascot have tracked indicator mineral trains to a pair of targets that have a high probability of being diamondiferous kimberlites, though the extent of diamond content is unknown. Monopros is scrambling to drill these two targets in May before the ice succumbs to the spring thaw. Victoria Island is one extra good reason to own Major General.
