i think I follow you. Did u say Merryl raised their numbers a bit, causing a little bit of a short panic, and an overall positive comment on their newest big product, as well as, positive hint towards managing their business and executing well? Are you really talking about novl?

I have been looking at the multiple Novell threads and really
don't understand a basic issue... Why would anyone invest in
a company like "NOVL", for the following reasons:
1. They don't have a place in the market anymore...
2. They thought they could market USL Unix (I.E. Unixware)
to save their evaporating market. They could not handle
this task.
3. They have ABSOLUTLY NOTHING in terms of products that
fits into a TCP/IP based Network environment of UNIX,
Windows 95/98/NT, and Mac. At least anything that I
need to support my network with....
4. They have NO new products that anyone needs...
5. I saw alot of people chearing at their booth at COMDEX
in Chicago, I listened to their corporate garbage and
still don't understand what their products can do for
anyone in the computing industry.
6. When they did have products they dragged the customer
down an expensive proprietary networking path that
pigeon holed everyone into their expensive products.
7. The basically are going NOWHERE FAST.

Keep in mind that have over 10 years of computing background
and consulting with fortune 500 companies like the one that
just was the first ever to be valued at 300 Billion... That's
where I am comming from....

Any Questions?
