Contest update <http://townlet.com/sowbug/contest/>:

Congratulations to all ASND longs! Wish I hadn't sold my June 45 call options last week!

In case you didn't already know this, buying on market open the day after the announcement of a company's addition to the S&P 500, and then selling on market close the day the stock is actually added to the index generates an average 55% annual return. Source: Los Angeles Times, early 1997.

Where to you see ASND tomorrow and Wed. given to S&P 500 news?

What was the S&P 500 news? Did I miss something. Today was totally flat. I still expect a retest of 1075 before the climb, but I do not have a lot of fundamental data that shows me this will happen. June 11 is still an important day I have marked on my calendar. I honestly can't remember why...Also, options expiration is next Friday. That must play into the future outlook somewhere...

ASND's stock price will be more motivated by whatever tech conference "du jour" is going on this week than by Greenspan's remarks on Wednesday...

...

Just read it. Welp, that's good for the short term stock price, and if you believe in miracles, Digital was a merger candidate so you can all hope. But, that may have been why ASND moved from 41 to 47 again...recently.
