To all, Had a phone conversation with Mr. Cal Nelson, he has stated that the IW article is inaccurate, and IBM has purchased additional switches from Ancor. He will look into this matter further.

The ES4000 switch link is still alive and well:

I don't think McData provides us with enough details to figure out if the "new" switch is different from the switches in the ES4000 - in fact the "G-port" to connect the switches is a proprietary Brocade term.
