Ed,

I'm not sure a reduction of salaries would constitute a material change in the true sense of the word requiring an SEC filing of some kind since it is a reduction rather than an increase.

As far as the cost savings - in their illustration showing actual 1Q versus E98 the ratio of costs to revenues is 90% for 1Q and 83-84% for E98. This makes me think that the 1/2 year cost savings have been factored in (7% of 14.5 million would be about $1 million) I think they are being very conservative and it assumes no growth and I remember JTO indicated in the CC that Q1 would be the low point for the year for net income.

Regarding their ten reasons to own the stock, I thought the following was kinda gutsy:

5.South Carolina favorably resolved

Do they know something we don't?

It appears Beasley has some opposition after all. The following is from today's The State:

"In the primary election for governor, Beasley is expected to win handily against token opponent Bill Able of Little Mountain.

Able said he hopes supporters of video poker and a lottery will vote for him in sufficient numbers to keep Beasley's margin down. He feels that if he can get 30 percent or more of the vote against the governor, it would be a moral victory of sorts for him and an embarrassment for Beasley. The governor has left nothing to chance, spending more $200,000 for television ads."

Able's candidacy prbably doesn't mean much in real terms but it is interesting nonetheless.
