Inv<<The average (of more than 30 analysts) earnings estimate, as listed on Yahoo, is $1.51 for FY 1998. This is a drop of 35% from the $2.34 actual 1997 earnings. The average earnings estimate of $2.51 for FY 1999 represents a gain of only 7% from 1997 levels.

Do you Really think they will earn $2.51 in 1999? I mean..... Really?

Im refering to the multiple of the PE. With the new lowered estimates, to justify price this company would have to grow in line with PE. Which it is not

I think a PE in or above 30 is a big premium for a stock growing, earning at 7%
