Just slightly off topic...
Great article on the front page of the wall street journal...the title is "Internet Is Opening Up A New Era of Pricing."...
just some quotes " Business to business commerce on the Internet is expected to dwarf the consumer sector...
"A couple of years ago, the idea of hiring an electronic agent, or "knowbot," was mostly the wishful thinking of fuzzy futurists. Today, shopping "bots" are real. At sites such as jango.com and junglee.com, electric search engines cruise the Internet and come back with a list of items, prices and merchants. Most of the items can then be bought with a few mouse clicks."
"But the story of the Internet's role in pricing goods and services is just beginning to unfold. More than a new way to take orders or delivery, the Internet is emerging as a paradise for comparison shoppers. The past couple of years have brought a slew of Wen sites and on-line services that put more information into the hands of the buyers. With vastly better data on prices of golf clubs, airline tickets and cars, consumers are cutting better deals."

Anyway this article goes on and on... the focus being the vast growing potential of the Internet, namely the commerce aspect of it...

I see ProNetLink as a future player in this arena...

The MM "ALEX" is J. Alexander Securities, Inc. Two trading desks, one in L.A., and the other in Miami. Sorry, but I won't list their phone #'s as I think it would get back to me. If I were you, I would focus on the Miami office. CD is located in Florida, so it fits. I would not be suprised to find a lot of stock for sale through ALEX, but I am not so sure it is a short. These small firms usually don't go over 50,000 shares short, they simply do not have the capital. I would look for whoever it is that is feeding them the paper to sell.... No new tricks in this game, just the same old ones with a few twists. CD won't try to kill this company because the SEC can at any time go over their trades to see what they did. Doesn't fit that they are short, looks like paper being fed through them into the market. Also, they are being sloppy about it. Normally they (The one with the paper) will use many different ones (MM) to cover their tracks. We call this a "Jitney Trade" and this is a very popular way to trade in Canada. No one can ever find out where the trades are comming from. So, yes, they are sloppy. Look to see the cash position of the company and if has grown. Ask them if there is a 504 offering. When the form 10 finally gets filed it will all come out, and I have yet to run into a company this size that didn't have a few strange things on the form 10. I have my own suspicions, but lets see the form 10 and everyone can judge for themslves.
