Eye: Here's my reference source as you posted on AOL's Motley Fool VVUS Board on December 6,1997.

Is there a difference between an optometrist and an optician? If there is, you have my sincere apology.

Best of luck with your VVUS investments,

BigKNY3

<<I agree with you, but could you give me your rationale as to why sildenafil wont be found to be associated with macular degeneration or other retinal disorders? >>

It's a giant distance from "blue halos" to a cause of retinal disease;
even common aspirin has color abnormalities listed as a possible side effect.drugs, like mellaril, requires heavy dosing before any retinopathy is seen.

i haven't seen any specifics, pertaining to this blue halo, but if you could forward the studies, i'd be willing to give my 2 cents.

<<BTW, are you an optometrist or ophthalmologist?>>

ah, the ancient war............optometrist, or more accurately now, "optometric physician", which simply means that i can treat ocular disease, remove foreign bodies, and leap tall buildings in a single bound.

<< Your name and post implies that you are an MD. In previous posts you have stated that you are an optician>>

I never stated what doctorate i possess, and opticians are not doctors.

i accept your apology.
