Lisa, re:shooting star on the OEX

Thanks for the link to CSTA.

For all practical purposes, OEX exhibits a Shooting Star on the daily chart -- btw, that's the reason I mention OEX as neutral to slightly bearish. (Recall that Shooting Star indicates the end of an uptrend, but not a major reversal. That's what we experienced at 10:10 for SPX, creating a listless day with a slightly negative bias.)

Just for trivia: the CSTA chart shows a nice Shooting Star candle with a gap open; my chart does not. (Compare Friday close, Monday open; or, Friday High, Monday Low -- depending on your preference.)
Why is this important? The knit-picky crowd likes to see the sort of gap that CSTA represents.
