Mornin BT,

<<Both Bay and Cabletron were "hatched" under the same roof.>>

Former friends make the strongest enemys.

Re: our favorite gaffer. A second page article in the NST today is all about whether the economy would be discussed in next week's UMNO general assembly meeting. Dr. M allowed that he "expected it to be discussed as even party members were feeling the pinch of the downturn". (Geeez we must be in trouble if EVEN my slimy crony friends are feeling the pinch). I cannot help but wonder what reporter thought it necessary to ask Mahatir whether the economy would be discussed. What else is there? And does the party need his permission? Never mind. Don't answer that.

By stark comparison, in an article directly above this one, Anwar is quoted as saying "If the country doesn't accept that domestic weaknesses also need to be corrected we will invite an even bigger catastrophe".

Best,
Stitch

I tend to agree about CSCO and COMS. CSCO is the leader. COMS at least has a very broad product range for all sorts of networking equipment from cheap to hi-tech expensive. It seems they just don't get management quite straight yet. I have it on my casual watch list.
