My guess of new IOM alliance is 3Com for its Pilot. Or, the Windows CE based "Palm sized PC". See Business week June 8th issue. These devices need to increase storage capacity to become truly useful and to accept all the new software available to them.

I think Oracle just announced plans to have a database product for the Palm III. You just gotta have memory for that...
