Storage management software sales to reach $4.8 billion by 2002.

I wish the Reuters article that you gave the link for would have broken down the projected market by the various computer types they cited. (Mainframe, Unix and Windows NT) Obviously the pertinent area for those owning Seagate's shares is the Windows NT area that Seagate Software dominates with a 42% market share. Am I foolish in assuming that this should be the area of greatest growth and that Seagate has a very valuable bird in the hand? With companies like Computer Associates selling at multiples around 5 or 6 times sales, Seagate Software might be worth 2 to 3 billion dollars by that time given the present $200 million annual revenues growing to $500 million.
