Check out the Keynote and IT Industry addresses. They are lengthy so get a beer and sit back. Gartner is decidely pro IBM and pro Oracle, but they do spend a LOT of time with customers and understand their buying behaviors.

The George Gilder Keynote is interesting too, even though he is 'way out there' in the ether. A VERY LONG term perspective.

Gilder could be wrong. He once wrote about the promise of LMDS wireless and wrote about Cellular Vision CVUS. My God that stock is now below 1.

Sometimes George is just to way ahead of his time But his writing is beautiful tech like poetry.
