<<I didn't get the impression he was doing, the chips and boards with 100 mhz bus are there, if you can find the right reseller. >> Why going through all those trouble Bro? Life is short, easy on yourself, buy PII. Man you guys are really making it hard for yourself hunting for 100 Mhz bus like you are hunting for a mushroom in the forest. Afraid it could be a poisonous one eh?

Sam, all mom-and-pop computer shops would give you that line of remark. That is standard response of doing this type of business. Just ask Ali since he is a self-claimed boxmaker. Time Traveler just hopes Ali would give an honest opinion.

Sam, That reseller is correct. SInce about 5-6% of the chips in the market are AMD they are spread thin. Our supplier has them 1-2 days per week and they all sell out.I think it is part demand and part temerity by supplier as he does not want to buy a shipload of AMD and have them crash in price as they did when AMD had problems and for a while the spot AMD 233 was above the Intel price. There is real demand for them both for the lower price and the higher speed. I would suggest you place your order and get in the queue. The price does vary on the spot even though the OEM AMD price was 25% less, you figure, scarcity does funny things.
We are witnessing the fragmentation of the market and the emergence of a viable alternative the the doggo slot 1 dark plot.
