Code Compliance for IBS 2000 Received from BOCA / Completion of Vibration Controlled Span Tables for Two Major I-Joist Manufacturers Luxor Industrial Corporation is pleased to announce that it has received a final Evaluation Report, from Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA) International, for product recognition for the patented IBS 2000 Load Sharing Floorsystem. BOCA regulates Building Codes throughout the Northeastern region of the United States. Luxor has received final approval from ICBO and SBCCI as well as BOCA, which constitutes product approval throughout the United States. Luxor has prepared Vibration Controlled Span Tables for the IBS 2000 for application with two major manufacturer's engineered I-joists which are distributed by Snavely Forest Products and Mid-State Lumber Corp. Earlier, Luxor announced that Mr. Tee Pecora, principal of Pecora Engineering, Inc. of Frederick, MD certified Luxor's Vibration Controlled Span Tables for application with conventional lumber joists for certain areas in the Northeastern United States. The IBS 2000 product is being sold in the Northeastern region of the United States for application with conventional joists and engineered I-joists. The Final BOCA approval, the certification of 'Conventional' Span Tables and the completion of 'I-joist' Span Tables will significantly increase Luxor's IBS 2000 sales.
