Tuesday June 16, 7:54 am Eastern Time Applied Cellular hires Ladenburg Thalmann PALM BEACH, Fla., June 16 (Reuters) - Applied Cellular Technology, Inc. said Tuesday it retained Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. as its financial advisor to assist it in evaluating strategic acquisition opportunities with other technically related companies. Applied Cellular said in a statement Ladenburg will also assist the Company in other financial matters as the Board of Directors sees fit. Richard J. Sullivan, Chairman and CEO of Applied Cellular Technology, Inc., stated, ''We are pleased to have retained Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. as our financial advisors. We feel they have the experience to assist Applied Cellular in capitalizing on the near and long-term opportunities which are before us.'' Applied Cellular Technology, Inc. is a builder and provider of infrastructure services and solutions to the communications industry.
