IVS Purchase Order For 2500 Smartlink Systems Received From
Mack Trucks Inc. In Production Phase

IVS INTELLIGENT VEHICLE SYSTEMS INC ("IVM-V;IVSVF-L")
MACK TRUCKS INC ("MACK-L")
- IVS Purchase Order For 2500 Smartlink Systems Received From
- Mack Trucks Inc. In Production Phase

James Mead, Director of IVS Intelligent Vehicle Systems Inc., reports
that the announced purchase order for 2500 Smartlink Systems received from
Mack Trucks, Inc. has entered into the production phase. An initial prepaid
order has been received from Mack Trucks, Inc. to be used to establish
production, manufacturing and delivery time schedules for the larger
production runs. It is anticipated that the Mack Trucks, Inc.
implementation plan will be completed during the next quarter.

Of note, the State of California has announced that they will begin
the roadside emission testing of heavy-duty trucks. Enforcement by the
State of California will result in substantial fines for vehicles that do
not comply with emission standards. The Company has entered into
negotiations with two key leaders in the emission testing and service
support industries. IVS is preparing to enter the California, New Jersey,
New York and Pennsylvania State Emission Testing Programs with a market
ready product that will satisfy static and mobile test requirements for the
EPA and State Emission Testing Program. Further news will be released on
the progress of those negotiations.
