Hi Hernan,American Century has a series of U.S.
Government zero coupon bond funds. They are called
Target Maturities Trust....I am in Target 2025, up
47% year to date. This fund is not for the faint of
heart,it is wild. If you want bond leverage, the
zero coupon bonds are your best
bet....http://www.americancentury.com
I am becoming very bullish on bonds, looks like possible deflation ahead.

Hernan: Any truth to the rumor The Bank of Japan is buying Gold and selling

over 100 Billion in U.S. bonds to pay for it???? I was reading a few posts
on this tonight and seem to think that the last time they made a play like
this was when they sold gold to buy the bonds at a 22% to 23% rate of the time.

Should they dump the yen and U.S. Bonds and try to come up with Gold to meet
the U.S. hoard of metal in storage it would take about 100 billion to do it
at a $450.00 avg. yet if the story get's out there could be a run on Au.
to what some call the $1000 to $1700 range I read about last year.

Well it's a great place to read what's up on bonds thanks for your
posting.....

Regards,
Jim....
