Trading Records

I would classify these records as mission critical and would give high priority to backing up my trading records on a regular basis

I agree. I do not day trade so my record keeping is not as substantial as a day trader's. When I trade no automatic record is created on my own machine ( I use DLJdirect). I make entries in a spread sheet and then verify them with the hard copy trade confirmation I receive in the mail. I also make entries in Quicken.

I deal with these files on an individual basis. I keep them organized on the hard drive and copy them to removable media soon after I make the entries. Hardcopies are kept firesafe.
