Trey, they don't HAVE to do anything. Since the recent announcement involving Bell Atlantic didn't favorably affect the stock price, there must be a reason. My guess: No one either inside or outside WSTL has a clue as to what this means for WSTL revenues and profits either short or long term. Seamans being the exception, most CEOs understand that one needs a dog and a pony before one can have a dog and pony show.
