I would definitely agree that SpaceDev has their act together, but still don't expect much reaction by the stock. The concept is still too far-fetched to most people, and there are many, many things that could go wrong.

I don't think we'll see any really impressive spikes until a large amount of funding (probably a NASA project team type thing, but maybe some other company) is solidified, something is actually launched, or a decent sized object hits the earth or is determined to be imminent (something like Tungaska perhaps).

Just my speculations. We could see a slow but steady rise thanks in part to the disaster movies like Deep Impact.
