JT, Thanks for the good wishes! The puts seem to be doing ok. Last year, when I was trading quite a bit, I did not do well on the puts. So, I'm going slow. GM was easy as it doesn't seem to do well with stikes, but they can be settled at any time. MCD just seemed like a bloated whale. The calls are based on a strategy of computing the percentage the stock is away from its suggested trading bottom and adding that to the distance to a target sell point. Then I focus on those where the weekly MACD is bearish but turning and the daily MACD is bullish. We'll see how it does. But then, I could have just followed you into MRK.
