Sylvester,

If you don't like the company, why buy Bay ? The rumors are just that and nothing more. As Bay gets closer to announcing another disastrous quarter, the risk of a deal NOT happening are increasing. Consider the risks involved before "betting" thousands of dollars:

- NT cannot under Canadian laws pool their shares, like american companies can. This makes this multi-billion dollar merger much less attractive to NT and makes smaller acquisitions look much better (Avici,Aptis,Plaintree ring a bell ?)
- LU cannot use their market cap until October to buy anyone, making them an unlikely candidate
- Every indication is that Bay will miss their numbers AGAIN !! If they do, without a buy-out offer, their stock will tumble.

There's no such thing as a sure thing. Bay may get bought, maybe even this week, but I'd research your decision a little more before spending your hard-earned cash on this dog.

Cheers,

Peppe
